"I read, I go to the movies, listen to music — I am just the same as everyone else, only I am always looking for inspiration, looking to create. I am always searching, always on a quest for a beauty, for ideas and a muse to seduce me."

British actor John Hurt arrives for the British Premiere of his latest film ‘Tinker Sailor Soldier Spy’, in London’s South Bank, on September 13, 2011.

leahonomatopoeia:

John Hurt also signed for me. I was so happy because he is an absolute gent, legend and sweetheart. He spent ages signing for everyone, and one time bent down to pick up someone’s things they had dropped for them.

He was told he had to go in and said he was going to sign one more, then continued signing loads for people. Lovely man.

More of this fabulous moment: British actors, Colin Firth, right, helping Gary Oldman with his attire, and Benedict Cumberbatch, second from right, and John Hurt looking on, arrive for the premiere of the movie Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, at the 68th edition of the Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy, Monday, Sept. 5, 2011.

I’m guessing Gary got dressed in the dark? It really is a fabulous moment.

WHOA

irunfytobinbell:

I could give two flying shits about Tom Hardy (overrated, IMO), but the rest of this cast…

MY GOD. They could show up and read the phonebook and I’d be over the moon.
